I’m Jasper Pouwelsen from Domburg Photography and my passion is capturing families — from newborns and toddlers to large gatherings and special occasions like baptisms or birthdays. As a specialist in family photography in Vlissingen and across Zeeland, I work from one clear belief: the most beautiful images are made when people feel at ease. That’s why my approach focuses on calm, humour and a natural atmosphere. My style is warm and honest: I aim for spontaneous photos with realistic colours and careful composition. I love photographing outdoors on Zeeland’s beaches and dunes, but I also come to locations you choose. With an eye for detail I capture small moments — a tender gesture, a mischievous glance or the quiet togetherness between generations — so you can genuinely feel the emotion of that day when you look back. How I work: we usually start with a short phone call or a face-to-face introduction to discuss your wishes and the best locations. On the day of the shoot I create a relaxed atmosphere; I give simple guidance and leave plenty of room for spontaneous interaction. For families with young children I keep sessions playful and flexible: short bursts, variety and lots of patience produce natural child portraits without forced poses. Beyond digital editing and post-production, I’m happy to advise on how the photos will look best — for example as wall prints or as gifts for relatives. My work is rooted in Zeeland: I know many locations that are perfect for family photos and I’m happy to recommend which places and times of day provide the nicest light.
