I’m Dascha from By Dash Photography, based in Veenendaal. My focus is family photography: capturing real connections, spontaneous glances and the small moments that become precious memories. As a mother myself, I know how valuable these memories are, and that shows in the warm, personal images I create. Why choose me? Because family photography is my speciality. I work extensively with families, expectant mothers and newborns; that combination has taught me how to create calm and trust during a shoot. My style is primarily lifestyle and documentary: no stiff poses, just gentle guidance and a strong emphasis on natural light, subtle emotion and the atmosphere between you as a family. What makes my approach special is the balance of involvement and discretion. I’m present without dominating: I make connections, offer small directions and leave space for play and spontaneity. Whether we take a walk outdoors or photograph at home in your familiar surroundings, I focus on true interactions — kisses, hugs, playful moments — so your photos feel like your own story. How I work with you: we always start with a meeting to get to know each other and clarify your wishes. Before the shoot I provide styling tips and help you choose locations and the right mood so the session is relaxed and enjoyable. During the session I offer gentle guidance for poses and play moments; together we create a natural atmosphere where you can be yourselves. After the session I carefully edit the images to enhance colour and emotion. You will receive a selection of edited photos ready to share or print. My passion for photography grew from internships in PR and a fashion blog, but it truly blossomed after the birth of my daughter.
