I'm Alexandra — I started with my father's camera and grew up around school photography, which taught me how to put even the shyest children at ease. I bring that experience to every family session: from baby and newborn shoots to spirited children's portraits and warm family group photos. My approach is personal and relaxed. A family session with UitjedakFotografie never feels posed or stiff; I work from a place of calm, small jokes and plenty of patience so everyone (including grandparents) can be themselves in front of the camera. By taking lots of images we naturally arrive at moments where smiles are genuine — those are my favourite shots. That's why I often say: a cheerful, relaxed photographer makes cheerful, relaxed photos. You are welcome in our spacious studio in Nieuwegein where we use a variety of settings, backgrounds and props. Prefer an outdoor shoot or a beloved family location? With children I use a light, playful method: short tasks, lots of variety and attention to what each child enjoys. For newborns I create a warm, calm environment so we can safely record intimate portraits. After the shoot I carefully edit the images: I select the best moments, lovingly retouch them and deliver them securely and accessibly.
