I’m Irina, the photographer behind Birense Fotografie. Born in Belarus and living in the Netherlands for over twenty years, I’ve made my home in the Utrecht region and work primarily from Maarssen. My passion is family photography: capturing the small, often unexpected moments between family members that later become the most treasured memories. My approach is calm, empathetic and practical. I work a lot on location—at your home, in a park or at a favorite local spot—so everyone feels at ease. By combining documentary observation with subtle guidance, I create images that are not overly posed but remain stylish and timeless. I help where needed with posture and light, but I prefer to encourage real interaction: hugs, play, and spontaneous glances that show your unique bond.
