As a family photographer based in IJsselstein, I focus on what truly matters: connection, intimacy and those small everyday moments that are hard to catch but priceless later on. My style is warm, pure and timeless — I seek the softest, most flattering light and work with subtle guidance so you feel at ease and the attention stays on each other. Why do parents choose me? Because I bring calm into the bustle of family life. I don’t believe in stiff poses or forced smiles; I create a relaxed atmosphere where genuine interactions arise: a dad quietly laughing at a silly face, a mother comforting her child, a spontaneous cuddle on the sofa. Those moments make a collection of images unique and allow your family’s story to shine through. My approach is personal and involved. We always meet beforehand — often over a (decaf) coffee — so I can get a sense of who you are and put you at ease. During the shoot I follow your rhythm; I offer gentle direction to enhance moments and leave plenty of space for play, hugs and discovery. I use my eye for composition and natural light to create images that feel both intimate and aesthetically pleasing. For mother-and-child portraits I’m happy to use my client closet of dresses and soft fabrics so mothers also feel and look their best. With experience in newborn and child photography I know how to work with little ones: patience, flexibility and a safe approach are always paramount.
