During the session I create a relaxed atmosphere; nothing is forced, a lot is allowed. I give minimal direction and let moments unfold naturally so your behavior stays organic and the emotions remain genuine. For mothers I pay attention to the powerful role you play; you are often the heart of the images. My approach is personal and careful. I prepare by reading your story and considering light and environment; on the day itself I work with available light and make use of your home environment or a favourite outdoor location in and around Zwijndrecht. Afterwards you choose from a private gallery the images that truly resonate — resulting in a collection that reflects your family. Although family photography is my core speciality, I also document pregnancy and newborn moments in the same understated, documentary style.
