I am Ingrid Leystra, a photographer based in Voorburg with more than six years of experience and a deep love for families. My work centers on family photography: those intimate, unforced moments when you are truly yourselves. My own family — and especially my little son Sam — is my greatest source of inspiration. That closeness taught me how precious fleeting moments are and why it matters to capture them with care and warmth. My approach is gentle and personal. During a family photoshoot I step into your personal bubble and shoot from the sidelines: no staged poses, no forced smiles, but real moments — hugs, play, a small glance that says it all. I seek connection, give space, and aim to surprise you with images that feel like your own story. Words clients often use to describe my sessions are natural, pure and sincere — exactly how I like to work. Beyond family photography, my heart is with motherhood and newborn photography. Whether it’s a maternity session, images soon after birth or tender mother-and-child moments, I create calm, warm photographs that highlight emotion and bonding. For kids portraits I choose honest, pure portraits that show each child’s character — playful, curious and photographed without rigid instructions. I love working locally in Voorburg and the surrounding area, but I’m also available for shoots across South Holland and other locations where your memories are made. My style is light, atmospheric and narrative; I capture the moments you’ll look back on with a smile and a lot of love. Although my main focus is family, motherhood and children’s portraits, I occasionally photograph weddings and branding or campaign projects.
