Before we meet I like to learn who you are: what you enjoy doing together, your favourite spot in the city or on the beach, and the mood you’d like to see reflected in the photos. I discuss this with you in a relaxed way so the session feels like a pleasant outing rather than a formal obligation. That’s how spontaneous moments arise — children playing, a dad laughing at a joke, a mother rocking her baby — and that’s precisely what I love to photograph. During the session I create a relaxed, safe atmosphere where everyone can be themselves. I prefer shooting outdoors in natural light — the beaches around The Hague are among my favorite locations — but your home or another familiar spot also produces intimate, meaningful images. I gently guide you so even the more camera‑shy family members feel at ease. My aim is always the same: photographic images you will look back on with love and a smile. After the shoot I make a careful selection and edit the best photos with attention to colour and mood, while preserving authenticity. You will receive the images in a personalised online gallery protected by password and download code; there you can mark favourites and leave comments. The gallery makes it easy to share memories with family and friends. It’s a privilege to accompany and capture life’s moments — from newborn and children’s photos to special family days such as birthdays, baptisms or communions.
