I’m Wiesje, a cheerful curly-haired and dedicated photographer from Scheveningen. My passion is family photography: capturing real moments, gentle touches and candid expressions you’ll want to revisit again and again. Inspired by the dunes, the sea and soft natural light, I love shooting in locations where you feel free and at ease — whether outdoors among the sand or inside your familiar home. Why choose me? My style is light, timeless and soft; I look for natural moments rather than forced poses. That’s how images with emotion and story are created: children running along the beach, hugs in the dunes and intimate moments with newborns. How I work: I always start with a short introduction so we have a click and you know what to expect. During the shoot I create a relaxed atmosphere — little is required and much is allowed. For children that means playing, discovering and giving plenty of space for their energy. For parents it means calm, attention and gentle guidance so you can enjoy yourselves spontaneously. I take the time so even the smallest ones can participate at their own pace; with newborns I work lovingly and patiently, exactly as you expect from a lifestyle newborn shoot. What drives me is my own story and the awareness that every family is unique. After my own path to motherhood, I know how precious those moments are. That’s why it’s important to me to show every mom, dad and child how valuable and beautiful they are.
