Hi, I’m Karin — the person behind Blij Moment Photography in Pijnacker. As a specialist in family photography, I believe the most beautiful images are made when people feel comfortable. My strengths are calm, creativity and a healthy dose of angelic patience: this works especially well with children and families who don’t always want to sit still. I capture photos that show how you truly are together — playful, loving and relaxed. Why choose me? Because I don’t impose standard poses but create space for quality time. During the shoot I encourage you to talk, cuddle, run or simply sit together — while I capture the moments when your connection is strongest. Those natural moments result in family photos with emotion and character, not just pretty pictures. My approach is personal and relaxed. Beforehand we talk about your wishes: the mood you like, whether you prefer the studio, your home or an outdoor location, and any special items or backgrounds you want included. The studio offers a clean, pure look; outdoors I choose locations where children can play and be themselves. Home sessions often create the most intimate memories — your family’s own story captured in your familiar environment. With children I work playfully and patiently: short breaks, little jokes and a calm approach help everyone feel at ease. You’re welcome to do outfit changes and bring your own backgrounds or floors if you wish; I’m happy to advise on colors and composition so the images remain calm and harmonious. My goal is for you to leave with warm memories — not only photographs, but an experience where fun and connection were central. In addition to family photography, maternity photography is also one of my specialties, giving me experience with sensitive, intimate moments and the timing they require.
