As a specialized family photographer in Gouda, I capture the real, everyday life of your family — not the posed picture, but the moments you'll most want to look back on. My work has a documentary approach: honest, warm and timeless. I look for connections, small rituals and those unnoticed glances between parent and child that tell the story of who you are. My approach is calm and unobtrusive. During a session I don't ask for perfect poses; I create a relaxed atmosphere where you can simply be yourselves. Whether we stay at home to document a morning routine, walk to the playground or visit a favourite spot, I follow the rhythm of your day and record moments as they happen. Sticky hands, sleeping bags, feedings and small discoveries — those are the images that move me and that I photograph with care. I love working with young families and gain a lot of energy from these sessions. I also offer maternity and newborn shoots — always in the same pure, documentary style — but my core expertise is capturing your family right now, exactly as it is. This focus gives me experience and insight in guiding families with children of different ages: from carefree play to tender moments with a newborn. Working together feels like a small adventure. We usually begin with a short introductory call so there’s a connection and you know what to expect. During the shoot I provide calm and space; there is always time for a feeding or a cuddle. After the session you’ll first receive a preview, followed by a carefully edited selection of images — photographs that reflect the mood and emotion of that day.
