I am Cynthia van der Togt and family photography is my passion. From my bright DLCM daylight studio in Gouda I capture everyday moments with a warm, relaxed eye for detail — the small gestures and honest expressions you’ll treasure most. As a specialist in family photography I focus on genuine connection: no forced poses, but relaxed interactions and spontaneous smiles. My approach is personal and practical. Before the shoot we discuss what matters to you — whether it’s a tender newborn session, a maternity portrait, or a playful family shoot with children. During the session I create a safe, cheerful atmosphere: I use simple games, gentle direction and lots of patience so children (and parents) feel comfortable. That ease results in natural expressions and intimate moments that truly reflect who you are. The daylight studio in Gouda provides a calm, stylish setting with beautiful natural light, ideal for soft newborn and baby photos or timeless family portraits. Prefer photos outdoors or in your home? I’m happy to come on location and can suggest places that match your style and wishes. What sets me apart is a fresh, documentary-influenced style combined with attention to composition and colour. I work subtly and respectfully so you can enjoy the moment without constantly thinking about the camera. The result is a varied gallery of loving, spontaneous images you’ll proudly hang on the wall or share with family and friends. In addition to photo sessions, I offer 1:1 basic photography workshops for those who want to learn to use their camera better.
