I am Marina, a family photographer from Gorinchem, and my heart beats faster for genuine moments between people. My specialty is family photography: I work in a relaxed, friendly and—above all—natural way so you can be yourselves. I believe the most beautiful family photos arise when there is room for emotion, interaction and the small, unconscious moments that make a family unique. My approach is warm and child-friendly. In addition to being a photographer, I am a primary school teacher, so I know how to work with children: patient, playful and calm. Never been in front of the camera? Is your partner uncomfortable posing? That’s perfectly fine — I’ll happily run along in the woods, make silly faces or take a quiet walk so the best photos appear without forced poses. A family photoshoot with me often includes several looks at one location: we change backgrounds and poses so you receive a varied online gallery. After the shoot you’ll get a sneak preview within 24 hours while I continue editing the rest of the images. You’ll receive access to a clear online album where you can choose which images you’d like to purchase. Custom options like prints and photo books are also available, so your memories become tangible. Besides full-family sessions, I also photograph maternity and newborn sessions. For a newborn shoot I’m happy to come to your home — that familiar, relaxed environment where a newborn is most comfortable. My style remains the same: calm, loving and attentive to detail.
