I’m Marijn — a photography educator, creative and family photographer based in Gorinchem. My work is all about stories: the little rituals, the mischievous glances of children and the quiet bonds between parents and their little ones. In my family photography I choose a calm, natural approach so moments arise that truly belong to you. My background in education helps me quickly build trust with children and families. No stiff poses — we play, laugh and encourage genuine interaction. Whether we head to a favourite outdoor spot or I come to your home to photograph in a familiar environment, I create a relaxed atmosphere so your family’s love and dynamics are captured naturally in the images. Children’s photography requires patience and a playful approach. I work at each child’s pace and make room for spontaneity; those unexpected moments are often the most beautiful family photos. For newborn and baby photography I work with warmth and care: soft lighting, comfortable settings and close attention to the tender details you’ll want to see again and again. Together we plan the shoot in a way that suits you. I listen to your wishes, advise on location and mood, and design a relaxed session where you can simply be together. The result is photos that tell your story — authentic, timeless and full of emotion, perfect for family albums, prints or wall displays.
