I’m Chandni from CL Productions, based in Bergschenhoek. As a specialist in family photography I focus on capturing genuine connections: the small looks, spontaneous smiles and the gentle rhythms of family life that later become cherished memories. My background — born in the Canary Islands and rooted in a rich Indian tradition — feeds my love of colour, ritual and emotion. That cultural sensitivity translates into a warm, storytelling visual language in which each family photograph tells a small story. My approach to a family photoshoot is calm and personal. I like to work at locations that matter to you — a park, your home or a familiar indoor space — and I create a relaxed atmosphere so children can be themselves. By combining spontaneous, documentary moments with gentle, guided portraits I create images that feel both natural and timeless. For newborn photography and baby photography I bring extra patience and care: I offer practical guidance and build calm so the little ones feel comfortable throughout the session. Children’s photography requires a different energy; I blend playfulness with short, focused sessions to keep children engaged. For child portraits I often look for simple backgrounds and flattering light that emphasise the child’s character rather than the setting. Family photos are about connection — not posed perfection — and that principle guides every shot. While my primary focus is family photography, I also offer the option of a short film as a complement to the photoshoot. These subtle videos capture mood and movement and sit naturally alongside my cinematic approach, enhancing the story without overshadowing the photographic work.
