Hi! I’m Julia van Kralingen from Foto’s van Julia — I love creating family photos from my base in Rijssen. Family photography is at the heart of what I do; what started as a hobby has grown into a passion for capturing those small, spontaneous moments that truly define a family. My style is warm, natural and relaxed: I focus on connections, unexpected smiles and the little gestures between parents and children. Why choose Foto’s van Julia? I approach family shoots with attention, patience and joy. I enjoy shooting at locations where you feel comfortable — outdoors in nature, at home, or another favourite spot near Rijssen. For children I create a playful atmosphere so they can be themselves; for parents I give subtle directions so everyone looks and feels at ease. This results in images that don’t feel staged but tell a story. How do we work together? First we have a quick call or WhatsApp chat to discuss your wishes and agree on a nice location and time. During the shoot I leave space for play and spontaneity while occasionally making focused portraits. A session lasts until we’re both satisfied; I take the time needed to capture real moments. After the shoot you’ll receive the images carefully edited and delivered digitally — I aim for a natural edit that enhances the mood and emotion of the moment. I have extensive experience with children’s photography and newborn sessions and feel at home with families of all ages. Besides family photography I also shoot maternity sessions and wedding photography, which gives me a solid sense of how to document special family occasions.
