I am Anneke Mensink and my heart is in family photography: capturing those small, authentic moments between parents, children and newborns. With a calm, relaxed approach I create a safe atmosphere where families can be themselves. The images that emerge don’t feel posed; they show personality and the connection between family members. My style is natural and understated. I work with soft light and simple compositions so the focus remains on interaction and emotion. Whether it’s a playful moment with the children, a tender encounter with a newborn, or a relaxed outdoor family photoshoot around Rijssen, I search for the small details that later tell the story of your family. Collaboration is central to my approach. Before the session we discuss what matters to you: locations where you feel at home, favourite moments you want to see, and practical needs for children and babies. During the shoot I work with the rhythm of your family — plenty of breaks, play and time to recharge — so even shy little ones can relax. After the session I carefully select and edit the images so you receive a cohesive collection of photos that reflect your everyday life. I approach newborn photography with extra care; the safety and comfort of the baby and parents always come first.
