As a family photographer in Raalte, my mission is simple: to capture the small, honest moments that you’ll warm to again and again. I’m Maaike Mulder and I love working with families and children — I’m patient, good with kids, and I enjoy those unforced moments when everyone can just be themselves. Why choose my family photography? I don’t use stiff poses. Instead I work with games, jokes and short prompts that create real interaction. Those natural moments — a glance, a quiet smile, a hug — are the heart of my style. I often photograph around the golden hour, outdoors in nature, or at a location that suits your family in the Raalte, Zwolle and Deventer region. If you prefer being photographed at home, I’m also happy to come to you. My process is personal and clear: after first contact we schedule a date together. Before the shoot I send a moodboard with clothing tips so your outfits match the location and mood. On the day itself I create a relaxed atmosphere — I take my time and am mindful of children’s needs so there’s no rush and the most beautiful spontaneous images can emerge. After the shoot you will receive an online gallery to view the images at your leisure. You choose your favorite photos and I carefully retouch them. I deliver images in high resolution so you can make prints and albums. My editing style is warm and tender; it enhances the natural and authentic character of your family. Although family photography is my specialty, I also photograph loving maternity and newborn moments when you wish.
