As a photographer based in Bruchterveld (Hardenberg), I run Photographie de la Souris with a strong focus on family photography: capturing love, connection and those small, unexpected moments that truly define a family. My style is calm, personal and emotion-driven — no stiff poses, but images that put character and relationships at the centre. The result is natural family photos you’ll return to with a warm feeling time and again. I work both at beautiful outdoor locations in and around Hardenberg and with my mobile studio in clients’ homes. That flexibility allows you to choose a shoot that suits your family: a playful children’s reportage in the woods, an intimate mother-and-child series in the studio, or a relaxed family session by the Vecht. Children and pets receive my full attention; I create a safe, playful atmosphere so that candid, spontaneous moments can emerge. For those who want extra attention to make-up or styling, I have completed a professional make-up course and can provide optional make-up and hairstyling. This is especially helpful for studio or single-person shoots, but is also appreciated on sessions where parents or older family members prefer a polished, professional look. How do I work with you? We begin with a personal conversation about your wishes — location, style and any clothing or props. On the day itself I keep the direction low-key: plenty of guidance, minimal fuss. I look for real interactions, small-scale moments and connecting glances. After the shoot I carefully select the best images and edit them with attention to colour and atmosphere, so your photos remain timeless and personal.
