I am Denise, the patient and enthusiastic family photographer from cosy Dalfsen. For me, a photoshoot is about more than pretty pictures: it’s a little adventure where your family, genuine smiles and the connections between you take centre stage. As a specialist in family photography I capture moments that feel like you could relive them — spontaneity, tenderness and humour are all given space. My approach is calm and personal. I take the time to make children feel comfortable and to encourage natural interaction between family members. No stiff poses, but games, jokes and short prompts that bring out authentic reactions. That patience and relaxed atmosphere show in the images: warm, timeless photos that reveal character and emotion. You can choose a cosy session in my home studio in Dalfsen or an outdoor location that appeals to you. I know many lovely spots around Dalfsen, Ommen and Zwolle, but I’m also happy to come to your favourite location. My mobile studio makes it possible to create a professional setting close by — ideal if you prefer to stay at home or if little ones feel more at ease there. What matters to me is personal attention and a touch of friendliness. For me a successful shoot starts with a good conversation: we discuss your wishes, any favourite locations and what you want to preserve. During the shoot I adapt my guidance to ages and personalities — from lively toddlers to shy teens — so everyone feels seen and heard. After the session I carefully select the best images and professionally retouch them; the result is a collection of photos you’ll keep loving over and over.
