As a family photographer based in Purmerend, I am Mignon from Hey Mama Fotografie, and I specialise in capturing your family story. My focus is family photography: the intimate, everyday and exceptional moments between parents and children that become priceless memories. I work with attention to calm, play and authenticity so you can truly enjoy the session and the most touching, timeless images will emerge. My background in childcare helps me quickly build trust with both children and parents. I combine that experience with a love for light and natural composition: no forced poses, but warm, timeless images that put your bond at the centre. Whether we shoot outdoors — in the woods around Purmerend or on the wide landscapes of the Twiske — or at home for an intimate newborn or family session, I create a relaxed atmosphere where you can be yourselves. I believe in a personal approach. Before the shoot we discuss location, clothing and your wishes so everything suits your style and the story you want to tell. During the session I give calm, clear guidance and plenty of room for spontaneous moments; that’s how authentic memories are made. For newborn sessions I often choose the familiar home environment: your close bubble and natural light make those first days perfect to photograph. In addition to classic family and motherhood sessions, I also create child portraits and celebratory shoots such as cakesmash and birthday sessions — always with the same warm, loving approach. My aim is that you leave not only with beautiful photos, but with the feeling that the whole moment has been properly captured. After the shoot I carefully edit the images and you receive them via an online gallery. I’m happy to help with tips on clothing and location, and I offer a client closet with maternity dresses and a few newborn outfits so you can fully focus on each other.
