I’m Saskia from STYJL Photography, and as a family photographer in Hoorn I lovingly capture the connections within your family with attention and care. For newborns I’m happy to come to your home: we follow the baby’s rhythm, look for the best natural light in your house and take plenty of time so everything feels calm and familiar. My style is warm, storytelling and sincere. I prefer shooting outdoors in nature — think Schellinkhout, the beach, dunes or nearby woods around Hoorn — but an intimate at-home session can be very special too. Before the shoot we discuss your wishes: whether you want a playful family series, photos of just the children or soft newborn portraits. During the session I offer simple prompts and little games; this creates spontaneous glances and genuine interactions, just as you are. How do we work together? First we have a short introductory chat so we can check if there’s a click and find out what matters to you. On the day I create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere; I give subtle guidance and let many moments unfold naturally. After the session you can view the photos in an online gallery and choose your favourites. I carefully select and edit all images in my warm, timeless style.
