I’m Demi, the face behind Studio Deja in Hoorn — and my heart is with family photography. As a specialist in family shoots I focus on images that are not only beautiful but also feel like you: spontaneous, warm and full of personality. My background in graphic design makes me a creative visual thinker; I love to play with light, composition and framing so each photo lingers a little longer. Why choose Studio Deja? Before the shoot I like to get to know you — what matters to you, which places are meaningful and what look you have in mind. Based on that I advise on location and light; I love the soft golden-hour glow but also use fresh morning light or atmospheric urban backdrops when they suit the story better. During the shoot I give subtle guidance so even camera-shy family members can join in comfortably. Often the best photos are born in those loose, unexpected moments.
