Before the shoot we discuss what matters to you: the atmosphere, favourite colours and whether you prefer to come to my studio in Westwoud or meet at a special location near Hoorn. During the session I create a relaxed setting where children feel comfortable — this produces natural, spontaneous portraits rather than stiff poses.
