I’m Hanelke, the photographer behind Hanelke Photography & Design, based in Hilversum. My passion is family photography: capturing genuine emotions, tiny touches and spontaneous smiles that become priceless memories. With a background in Visual Communications (Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography) I combine technical skill with a strong sense of composition and color — always aiming for timeless, warm images that suit your family. My approach is personal and calm. We meet beforehand so trust can grow; that’s the secret behind relaxed, natural photos. During the shoot I create a friendly atmosphere where children can be themselves — I work playfully and patiently so even the most reserved little ones are captured at their best. For new parents I offer comfortable newborn and baby sessions, often at home for maximum tranquillity and closeness. I believe photos form a family legacy. That’s why I also advise on how to display your images at home — from fine prints and wall collections to carefully designed albums. My partner Etienne often assists during shoots; together we make sure your session runs smoothly and that you feel completely at ease. Quality and attention to detail guide everything I do: from a clear intake conversation and a practical client guide with styling tips, to careful post-processing and an online gallery where you can easily order prints and albums.
