I’m Laurine, a family photographer based in Heerhugowaard with a passion for warm, loving and natural images. My focus is family photography: capturing the little everyday moments — the hugs, the giggles, the sand between toes — so you can look back and feel that moment all over again. As a lifestyle photographer I prefer working with natural light and often schedule sessions around the golden hour; that soft, warm light gives your photos a truly magical atmosphere. What sets me apart is my background in pedagogy and my experience in youth care and childcare. I connect with children quickly, meet them in their world in a playful way and keep the session relaxed for the whole family. I give gentle guidance and small prompts so spontaneous moments arise — no stiff poses, but genuine togetherness. For a family photo session I happily advise on location, styling and the best timing. My favourite spots are the dunes, the beach and the wide heathlands of North Holland, but I’m equally happy to come to a place that’s meaningful to your family. My approach is personal and caring: we start by discussing your wishes, I send a brochure with practical information, and on the day of the shoot we create a relaxed atmosphere where you can simply be together. After the session I carefully edit the images and provide a private online selection so you can choose your favourite photos. The most important thing to me is that the photos feel like you: warm, honest and full of connection.
