As a family photographer in Haarlem, I draw inspiration from real moments: a warm hug, a playful glance or simply being together on an ordinary morning. My work is all about capturing your story exactly as it is — intimate, honest and full of humanity. As a visual thinker who has photographed families and newborns for years, I know how to create relaxation and authenticity for every age. My approach is calm and unobtrusive. I focus on atmosphere and emotion rather than posed perfection. That means I listen, observe and wait for those small, meaningful moments instead of directing the day from start to finish. For newborn and baby photography I always prioritise peace and safety; for children's portraits I encourage playfulness and curiosity so your children can be themselves in front of the lens. The result is natural family photos that clearly reflect your connection and everyday rituals. Working with you is personal and approachable. I start with a short conversation so we can get to know each other and clarify your wishes — what do you like, where do you feel at home, which places have meaning? On the day itself I create a relaxed atmosphere; my goal is that you don't feel like you have to be "on the photo", but can just be together. After the shoot I carefully select and edit the images with attention to colour and tone, preserving the mood of your family in every photo. You receive the photos via an online gallery that is easy to share with friends and family. I live and work from Haarlem and photograph families across the region.
