I’m Denise from DVO Photography. As a family photographer in Waalwijk, my passion is capturing genuine moments between you as a family. What sets me apart is my love for light, warmth and that dreamy golden-hour atmosphere—the soft, warm light that naturally brings out connection and emotion. My approach is relaxed and personal. During a family shoot I use what I like to call “posed unposed” — I gently position you and then let authentic moments unfold. With playful prompts (dancing, tickling, hugging, running) I create an easygoing atmosphere where children can be themselves. That’s when the most honest images appear: loving glances, real smiles and small interactions that will still move you in 25 years. I prefer short lines of communication in the preparation: we coordinate via WhatsApp or email, pick a location and discuss clothing. I’m happy to give styling tips so the overall look works well together. I usually shoot outdoors because children need space and freedom to play; when outdoor space is limited I use my studio in Waalwijk. One favourite outdoor location is De Loonse en Drunense Duinen—perfect for sand, woods, heath and, of course, that magical golden hour. Safety and calm are important to me, especially with young children and babies. My experience, attention to detail and use of professional photoprops and a newborn-posing table (if needed) ensure everyone feels comfortable. In my studio there’s a changing area, a couch to relax on and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. After the session I carefully select and edit the images: final photos are delivered digitally via your personal client panel so you can choose at your own pace. My aim is always the same—deliver images that truly make you happy, with attention to emotion, colour and light.
