During a family photoshoot I create a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can unwind—from new parents and newborns to energetic toddlers and proud grandparents. My experience in newborn and children’s photography means I know how to use patience and timing: I wait for those spontaneous looks, small touches and giggles that make a photo unforgettable. What makes my approach special is its playfulness. For families with young children I use techniques such as Playful Heart and I always bring Japie the Apie — a small cuddly friend who often adds that extra bit of confidence and fun. These playful elements help children be themselves, letting the most natural, beautiful moments happen. How I work: we start with a personal conversation to discuss your wishes and ideas. During the shoot I guide you with simple prompts, fun tasks and games so everyone stays relaxed. I prefer to photograph outdoors at lovely locations in and around Tilburg, but I’m happy to travel across the Netherlands when requested. After the session you can calmly choose your favorite images from a private online gallery. In addition to spontaneous group shots, I create intimate portraits of parents, newborns and children—images that are perfect for albums or to hang on the wall. I always respect your privacy and the use of images: permissions and publication agreements are discussed clearly beforehand.
