I’m Peter from peterv.photography, based near Bergeijk, and I focus primarily on family photography. My motivation is the same curiosity and sense of wonder that led me to photography in the first place. That urge to notice small, meaningful moments — a crooked laugh from your child, the way parents look at each other during an ordinary afternoon — is what I aim to capture and preserve. As a family photographer I work from a clear premise: spontaneity over posed perfection. My style is observational and calm; I believe the most beautiful family photos emerge when people can be themselves. That’s why I encourage you to simply do what you normally do. No forced poses, no strict instructions — instead an easygoing atmosphere where your true dynamics can appear. As I like to say: be as you always are, and we’ll elevate the everyday into images you’ll cherish forever. How I work: I’m primarily a quiet observer who steps in at the right moment. Before the shoot we’ll have a short meeting so I understand your expectations and we can get a sense for each other. During the session I create a comfortable, playful setting in which children and parents relax quickly. My approach is personal and informal; I give gentle guidance when needed but leave plenty of room for spontaneous interactions and unexpected moments. What you receive are authentic family photographs with attention to emotion, light, and composition. I edit in a consistent style that suits my vision: warm, honest, and timeless. Those images are meant to help you look back on your story — small memories that later become invaluable. Although my main focus is family photography, I sometimes take on more directed portrait assignments as well.
