I am Edith van Aken of EdithFotografeert — a specialist in family photography based in Roermond and working across Limburg. My work is colorful, cheerful, romantic and timeless; I search for those small, genuine moments between family members that will be treasured for years to come. As a family photographer I focus on newborn and baby photography, children’s portraits and photo sessions for special occasions such as baptisms, communions or birthday reports. I advise on locations in and around Roermond — from your own home to beautiful natural spots — and give practical tips about clothing and timing so the atmosphere stays relaxed. On the day itself I work calmly and flexibly; for newborn or baby photography I take all the time needed so it feels right for you and the little ones. As an experienced family photographer I keep an eye for both emotion and craft: I pay attention to flattering light, strong composition and careful post-processing so the photos look beautiful both online and in print. I enjoy working with families of all kinds — a session including grandparents, a multi-generation shoot, or photographs of just the children — and I’m happy to travel further for special moments.
