Hi — I’m Marleen from Marl1fotografie, based in Korrewegwijk. My passion is family photography: capturing the small everyday moments, joyful interactions and the natural connection between people. As a specialist in family photoshoots, I work with families, children and newborns to create images that don’t feel posed but are genuine and full of life. What defines my approach is a warm, relaxed style. Many people feel nervous in front of the camera—I understand that myself. That’s why I focus on movement, conversation and plenty of fun during the shoot. No forced poses, but natural moments where real emotions come through. My style plays with light, interesting angles and atmosphere; I like to call it “writing with light.” The result is lively, timeless photographs that truly suit your family. I mainly work outdoors at locations in and around Korrewegwijk and Groningen, because I love natural light and the freedom outdoor photography provides. There’s no fixed studio: the surroundings and natural light form the backdrop. This makes my family photoshoots playful and free—ideal for children and babies who are at their best when they can move and explore. As a family photography specialist I help with ideas and preparation, tailor the session to your wishes and create a relaxed atmosphere where even shy participants feel at ease. In addition to general family portraits, I also enjoy shooting newborn, baby and child imagery and can photograph special family gatherings such as baptisms, communions or birthday parties—always with the same attention to emotion and simplicity. My passion started as a hobby and grew into Marl1fotografie through courses and extensive hands-on experience. I love being close to those intimate moments and capturing what makes each family unique.
