I’m Johan from Beeldpakker, based in Putten, and my passion is family photography. As a specialist in family photoshoots, I use more than ten years of experience to get to know families and capture those personal, meaningful moments. My work is about more than pretty pictures: I look for connection, emotion and the small interactions that make a family unique. My approach is relaxed and purposeful. Many people find being photographed a bit nerve‑wracking — that’s why I first create a warm, comfortable atmosphere. With gentle humour, small prompts and calm direction I help children and parents relax so their personalities and relationships can shine through. I believe a great portrait appears when people are allowed to be themselves; I take the time to let everyone get used to the camera and use simple guidance so spontaneous reactions come naturally. Style and vision: I prefer contrast-rich, colourful images with warm tones that enhance family moments. Whether we shoot on the Ermelose heath, in the woods or at a location you choose, I pay careful attention to light and surroundings so the series has a coherent, natural look. No stiff poses — instead, I aim for images that move you and that you’ll return to again and again. Practical and flexible: when needed I set up a mobile studio on location so we can use seamless backdrops or controlled lighting without you having to travel to a fixed studio. For larger families or spontaneous moments I have the experience to organise everyone quickly while keeping the session relaxed — from intimate family portraits to lively group photos.
