I’m Ellen from Fotografie Puur, and as a family photographer in Nijkerk my work focuses on one thing: creating loving, natural memories you’ll look back on with warmth. My style is soft, honest and unposed — I look for the moments when you are truly yourselves rather than staged images. That’s how photographs filled with connection, emotion and small details that later mean so much come to life. During a family shoot I create a calm, playful atmosphere where children feel safe and parents can relax. With patience and a friendly approach I often capture those spontaneous smiles and tender interactions. I give subtle prompts and simple activities that encourage natural moments, but I also leave room for playfulness and the unexpected — those small things are often what make the photos feel pure and real. Many families choose an outdoor location in or around Nijkerk, but I’m also happy to come to your home if that feels more comfortable. Home sessions bring out familiarity and you can see that in the images. Before the shoot you’ll receive an information booklet so you know what to expect, and there’s the option to use clothing from my client closet for a calm, cohesive look. After the session I carefully select and edit your images with attention to natural colors and soft contrast; I aim for timeless photographs that suit your family. You receive the finished photos via an online gallery so you can choose your favorites at your leisure. Fotografie Puur grew from my love for moments that should be treasured — as a mother I understand how quickly children grow and how valuable images are. In addition to family photography I also photograph maternity and newborn sessions, which often create beautiful opportunities to capture these special phases.
