I’m glad you found my page! I’m Myrna Kolks from Aalten (Achterhoek) and my heart is in capturing real family moments. As a specialist in family photography I focus on natural, relaxed images that highlight the connection between family members. My style is warm, honest and unposed — exactly how a family wants to feel. I mainly create (children) portraits, family photos and dog photos. With a patient and calm approach, children quickly feel at ease and spontaneous, genuine moments emerge. Whether we choose a quiet outdoor location around Aalten or a simple studio setup, I pay attention to small interactions, smiles and touches that later mean so much. My personal background as a part‑time working mum and my passion for photography make me understand how precious these growing and family times are. In January 2024 I took a photography course with my father and have since devoted more time to editing in Lightroom. That combination of compositional eye and careful post‑processing ensures images that are stylish and timeless. How I work: I create a relaxed atmosphere, give short friendly directions and leave room for play and spontaneity. With plenty of patience I guide children and dogs so we can achieve beautiful, natural photographs without stress. For families it’s important that the session runs smoothly — I listen to your wishes and advise on location and mood so the photos truly reflect you.
