I’m Claudia from Claudia de Vries Photography — focused on family photography with a warm, natural and unposed approach. As a family photographer in the Emmen area, I look for the moments that will truly move you later on: a genuine laugh, a sweet joke between siblings, or the quiet embrace of parents with their children. My style is all about authenticity; no stiff poses, but room for playing, cuddling and the small gestures that make a family who they are. What sets me apart is my calm, down-to-earth approach. People describe me as friendly and spontaneous — qualities I bring into every photoshoot. By creating a relaxed atmosphere, children feel free to be themselves and the most beautiful, natural images emerge. I draw part of my inspiration from my own family; my daughter Noé reminds me daily how pure and uninhibited moments can be, and I try to bring that same feeling into your family photos. I prefer to work with natural light, especially during the golden hours, because it enhances the warm feeling at the heart of my work. Whether we’re walking through an autumn wood or playing by the shoreline at sunset, I capture the light, colors and little moments that later become cherished memories. During the shoot I guide you gently — offering cues without forcing anything, leaving space for spontaneity and ensuring everyone, including those who are camera-shy, feels comfortable. Working with me is personal and straightforward. We start with a conversation to discuss your wishes and arrange a suitable date and location in the Emmen area. After the session I select the best images and place them in an online gallery where you can take your time choosing.
